My LX450 OEM front bumper is dented up. It looks like the center part of the front bumper, the impact bar, is no longer available. The front left and right corners still are.

Would new LX front bumper corners work on an LC impact bar?

The front bumpers are identical I believe.

Anyway that you can confirm? I see a lot of people saying that they believe they’re the same, but I don’t wanna buy one only to find out it won’t fit. I haven’t been able to see anything that definitively confirms that the two are the same. Thanks!
 
Have you called your local dealer? They might be able to confirm. Or find someone with the other vehicle than yours to compare with.
I don't see how they would be different, considered the frame they're attached to is the same.

I think the difference was the finish. Land Cruiser bumpers originally came painted and the LX450 had to be painted.

I checked all the parts that attach to the bumper - grills, end caps, brackets, fasteners - and they are all the same for both.

I have and the guys there won’t even speak about Lexus parts. They also said since this is so old nobody can really help me. Called a few different parts departments.

I know the right and left corner trim pieces are different to account for the wider trim panels on the sides of the LX. I just cannot tell if the impact bar is the same. They look the same, but I saw different part numbers. The LX impact bar is discontinued and the 80 series bar is available. I’m also curious about getting a JDM winch bumper, adding the LX corner trim pieces to the bumper and potentially having that fit my LX.

Everyone I’ve asked or spoken to says either they are the same but can’t produce evidence or that they aren’t but cannot produce evidence. Don’t want to sink $300 for a new impact bar and another $100 for paint if it won’t fit to start with.

Interesting. Hoping someone on here has experience with 80 series impact bars on LXs. Just don’t want to drop the cash for it not to fit. I’m only wanting the center part of the front bumper not the two side trim pieces. I know they are different on both cars.
 
Replaced my LX450 front bumper with an equivalent year LC version. They are essentially identical. Bumper ends bolt right on. I painted the set to match the original.
