Recently bought a lx600 for the boss (wife). Have had a good bit of LC’s including (4) 200’s ranging in all years from 2009 - 2019 (still own the 2019 w/ 27k on the clock - hope to never sell).

My assessment. The Lexus’s ACH is cool as it allows you to lift the car 3-4 inches even cruising at 90 mph. HOWEVER, it bounces. Yep, bounces, kinda like a Civic with H&R Springs. Kk, it isn’t that bad but the bounce is definitely there. All this said, I’d take my KDSS in the 200 over the lx600 suspension all day long. It may not handle like a GT3 but damn, it’s comfy!!

The LC seems to have more ground clearance in the front--can you measure? Also, I have the same LC, did you black out the cross bars in the grill? If so with what? Thanks

I drive a Ferrari or two and my LC 200 will take a "set" into a corner--limit the body roll--which is confidence inspiring. WhileI would like an LX 600, I worry that it won't be as stiff or settled in transition--will float or rebound, particularly with AHC. Am I wrong?

Gang, hello !

Did anyone got an answer, or has an answer to offer regarding this?

AHC seems like the old LC/LX100 need to take the guts out kind of job (did that on my old 2005 LX),

While the AVS sees more straight forward?

The LX600 Premium comes with the AC seats (the Base does not and it is not an option) and my derrier kinds appreciate that AC in Texas hot, so... Premium seems the next best for a "simpler" LX600 with AVS unless Base w/o AVS/AHC but not AC seats.

Cheers,

G

I guess test drive both see how you feel. You may not like the way the AHC drives. Docyota didn’t. I will concur that comfort setting is VERY soft… but sport and sport plus do a nice job of tightening things up. Maybe that’s because mine is an f sport so it has different shocks than the others.

Just know that once you go AHC there’s no switching to an aftermarket system.

One thing I’ve been wondering is what happens when you put an aftermarket suspension on a vehicle with avs… theres connectors and modules at the top of the shocks. The modules would be discarded with the shocks and the connectors would have to be zip tied off to the side and the system would be unused. Surely that would trigger some warning lights or malfunction messages and to visit your dealer.

What's different on the LX600 with AHC? People remove it from their LX570s all the time.

Agree. This is misconception. We know from TLC/LX570 that they share the same ECU etc. My LX now thinks its a land cruiser and is perfectly happy with it.
