After lurking mud for months, while waiting for my troopy to arrive from Australia, It is finally in my hands.

I'm sure I will be encountering some issues as I get acquainted with "him."

Congrats ! Good you solved the lurking problem.

Can't wait to see pictures.

Drove it 1000 miles home and made it through the mountain passes without a mechanical issue.

I was worried about the oil pressure being too low, but read up on the diesel forum and found out that it is normal.

Aside from that, typical stuff like alignment and rust in some areas of the tub.

Lots to learn.

Thanks! It has a 6 cylinder 2H engine. I've gotten lots of curious stares and waves, along with offers to buy.

It's definitely a gem. Just needs a little polishing along the way.

And need to do something with this pipe that was used to connect a gravity fed auxiliary tank.

Also, does anyone know if the covers for this cubby hole are obtainable? I saw that the Saudi Spec Troopy has it

Nice engine compartment.

The gravity tank connected to the other tank through the floor it really something, what an idea! You probably have to drop the tank to patch it properly after that tube is out.

The best shot for that cubby door will be Australia again as there are more troopy's there.

People will want to buy your 40 everyday, it never stops, not one day !
