Found a cheap $50 Lund Sunvisor for '85 truck (compared to $220 new), but wanted to know if it will fit an '85 4Runner. How much difference was there on the body style? I thought they were the same. Lund does make a #12099('85 truck) and #12100('85 4R) maybe it can be modified if not too different.

DO NOT PUT THAT THING ON YOUR TRUCK

My son has one on his '89 4Runner, and he HATES it. It sucks gas, it flaps at highway speed, tree branches get caught under it when he's wheeling, and his roof leaks. He's had to remove it more than once to re-seal the holes. He took it off once for awhile, but he couldn't get it to stop leaking, so he had to put it back on. His carpeting got all moldy and stanky, so he had to pull it all out and Herculine the interior. Found lots of rot in his floorboards.

Besides, they look stoopid.

They really do suck bad after about a week of kind of (almost?) looking cool. If it's sun that's bothering you, run an 8 inch strip of 5 percent tint across the top of the windshield and do your side windows, it helps a lot, if you think they look cool, buy one and get a few extra tubes of silicone.
