The road in was as close to 4x4 as it got, the only thing that even goes up to the top of the hill anymore is old john deer

I'll see your grassy field and raise you snowy mountain forest roads. See why I need your winch bumper? :) This was from today, on the Taylor Burn road between Cultus and Waldo Lakes, we only got about 1/3 of the way.

his name is Ryan Hazelbaker, I was the guy on the phone (pete). We had a delivery service pick it up at your shop, Cascade Tire might ring a bell :wrench:

OK...the 60 rear axle swapped with a 62 3rd going under a 40. How's the build going?

I am going out to the build site tomorrow so Ill have a full report, heh I may even do a write up on his rig for him since It was me that got him the rig and convinced him we should restore it. :hmm:
 
I think I saw your rig parked downtown by La Margarita not too long ago. Was that you? Can't wait to see that 40 on the road too man.

Hey jake got your email, and yeah im no longer at Cascade Tire, I went back to school. As far as some new wheels I could let my buddy know that you are in the market, I know ryan can make you a sick deal since he owns the shop :p.

Right on. School is always good. Yeah, I think I talked to Don yesterday. Didn't seem like he was giving any great deals. Haha. I was going to get my wheels blasted and powdercoated but I figured for a few bucks more I can find some decent looking, new wheels. Yeah, if you wouldn't mind letting Ryan know I'm in the market. Either some 15" plain black rock crawler style (like yours) or some decent aluminum or something. America's Tire has some all right ones from $80-$100 a piece so I'm looking around that price range...basically, inexpensive. We'll be out working on the 40 this weekend if you wanna swing out. Getting pretty close to having this thing done!
 
Heh ya don is a typical sales guy and is not who I would recommend dealing with, Ill shoot ryan a text and have him get some prices on Pro Comp steel (like mine) and maybe some similar aluminum Mojave teflon
