Screw that, for all the work it was going to be to put these Polks in its not worth it. Going to return them and get a bolt in replacement. Going to add some removable 6x9s in the back to add the quality I want...
 
Good choice! Better to pay and get exactly what you want.
 
Think the RF Punch makes a 5 1/4" that will fit in stock location. If not I did a slight mod to mine and mounted the speakers on the door panel (with an 1/8" plywood in the backside of the panel to add some rigidity) to fit some RF Punch 6.5". They have great sound and work great with the RF Punch 6x9s in the rear panels.
 
I think Ill just end up doing it with tweets in front, 2 ways in the rear doors and a few 6x9s in the back, I want to be able to remove them though, and not in the panels, Saving up for the WagonGear :p

G, is correct the 5.25" fit with ease.

Its too late to start a Poll for this thread, so ill pose the question:

Keep the 32x11.50R15 and the steel ProComp Wheels

OR

Go big with LT315/70R17 DuraTrac and 17" Mojave wheels

In the next few thousand miles Ill be needing to replace my Cooper STT with something.... And I will be going to 33' or 35' but I am concerned that 35s are too much for the old rig to push down the road. So what should I do???

With 3" Beltons, no sway bars, my BFG 33x12.5x15 on 10" rims rub on the wheel wells under full articulation. I'd like to try some 8" rims and see if that helps. I will be doing a small body lift and hope to be able to clear 35's, but my 33's seem to take me everywhere I want to go. The 35" tire combination will require some mods I'm guessing, I also re-geared to 4.56, but I use (did use) this rig as an off road truck, so I preferred keeping my lower gearing. With an H55 I rarely used 1st on pavement

X2^^ gears and lift, O. The 35s will be some serious rubber OD and hard on the motor and trans IMO without gears. It's been done, but I'd expect some issues to arise, especially if you are planning on wheeling like you usually do.

alright then, I will spare my rig the pain of 35's until have the chance to re-gear. Dont forget guys... I did do a lift... well, a poor mans lift but the AAL and extended shackles gave me 3" on a saggy OE suspension :p
 
Woah, crazy new digs here in mud...

Anyway, decided to bite the bullet and order all new shackles and bushings too... Pics later :)
Also going to score a few front-end pieces, its getting a tad sloppy.
 
Also got the HID light kit the other day. They nicely with the "Round Eyes" conversion. I was a total noob and forgot to take a pic at night before and after... Lets just say the improvement is paramount.
