Hi folks!

I've been designing & manufacturing parts over for the 100 Series LC/LX for about a year now, but recently picked up a 4th Gen V8 4Runner for cheap ($1800, with a TRD supercharger!) and have been making some parts for it as well. This post will walk through the offerings as of 3/5/26, but I'll update the thread periodically as I release new designs!

Everything can be found over here in the 4Runner section of The Artisan Garage!
Without further ado....

Ultimate Cupholder Insert, Link here!
I don't actually hate the stock cupholder insert, but I had a lot of requests for something better... so this is that! It still retains the ability to fit giant water bottles (Nalgene, Hydroflask, etc), but now can hold things smaller than a Redbull can securely, and anything in-between! The tensioned arms are infinitely adjustable to securely hold whatever you want them to while easily being able to be adjusted. There's a brake pad mechanism in the middle that the center screw adjusts tension on, which means this thing should last just as long as the rest of the truck will!

There's also options for expansion via the 4x perimeter screws - a third cupholder on the passenger side, or storage sidecars for either passenger/driver sides.
Available with either stainless (shown) or black hardware (for those wanting the blacked-out look!)

Interior Door Handle Cubbies, Link here!
The 4th gens have that big sweeping interior door handle - perfect for setting your phone/wallet/chapstick in, and listening to it go 'clink' because your forgot that there's not actually a bottom/cubby in the door handle - items just drops straight through... until now! These are an easy install & provide some useful storage in the front door panels for small items.

Center Console Lid Storage Organizer, Link Here!
This uses that odd dead space underneath the center console lid - I think some models had a tissue holder or something here, but this replaces it with a customizable storage rack! First photo is what it looks like unloaded (you can see all the slots you can choose to run the elastic through), second photo is the 100 Series LC/LX version all loaded up. I like that this keeps all (reasonable) items tucked above the level of the front flip-forward protrusion, so you're not really losing storage space down below.

Modular Mount Panel, Link here!
This one is pretty snazzy - it replaces that odd cubby in the center dash and replaces it with a panel that integrates USB chargers on the right hand side, options for RAM mount adaptors on either side, and features a modular center insert area. Currently supported items are:
  • 8 Gang Auxbeam (RA/GA/BA 80 - non-XL)
  • 6 Gang Auxbeam
  • 8 Gang Switch Pros (SP9100)
  • SPOD Touch Screen switch panel
  • 5x 'OEM Toyota Tall' switches
  • Blues Seas M2 Multimeter/SOC display (this requires modifying the housing behind the cubby, FYI)
  • MOLLE-esque panel
  • Scan Gauge 3 (very soon! Finalizing this design now).
As mentioned, it features mount points on either side for what I call 'RAM mount adaptors' that provides spots for the RAM diamond bases to mount to.

Here's some photos! I'm always more than happy to design a new insert to support something different, so let me know if there's something you're looking for!

Auxbeam/Switchpro Switchboard Engine Bay Mounts, Link here!
I also design parts for @MongooseGA (who runs The Artisan Garage) to plasma-cut & bend - this one allows you to mount the 'relay box' of a Auxbeam, Switch Pro, or anything else that'll fit right in the engine bay! It includes a dedicate spot for the 60A Auxbeam breaker, and it'll fit any of the 8-Gang (RA/GA/BA-80 or RA-80XL) Auxbeams, the 6 Gangs (RC-60), or the Swithpros SP9100. I know there's other options for this space out there, but I truly believe this is the best available. You can still access your fuse box lid (it's tight!), and the vertical brace keeps things rigid.

Juuuust sneaks in there!

The vertical brace reuses an existing threaded hole in the fenderwell.

Wolfbox Rear Camera Mount, Link here!
This mount clips into the rear of the headliner & tucks under the trailing edge of the dome light. It provides some holes to thread the mount screws of a rear view camera (such as the Wolfbox rear view mirror displays) into:

Auxbeam Overhead Switch panel Mount, Link here!
This lets you mount an Auxbeam switch panel up high - it hooks around the headliner where it meets the sunroof, and then tucks under the overhead light console. Install is easy! First photo is the bare 4Runner version, second photo is what the same mount for the 100 Series LC/LX looks like in my 05 LX470:

And I think that's it for the moment! I've got some other 4th Gen efforts in the works, and I can't wait to see what the community asks for next.

I spend a lot of time on my designs - having a 3D scanner means I can accurate capture & reproduce the curvatures found in vehicles, so I can design things that fit like factory.

I use carbon-fiber reinforced ASA in all of my prints - this stuff is made up the road from me in Northern Indiana, and the heat & UV resistance provided by the ASA makes it the ideal choice for vehicle parts.(it's what Toyota uses for a lot of interior panels!).

Have an idea or want to see something brought to life? Don't hesitate to let me know! A lot of what I've done has started as a request from the community, and the 4th gen groups have been awesome!

wow doggie, you have a serious lineup for the 4th gens. Thank you sir.

@LJE - I convinced my son to order the cupholders for his 07 Sport
I didn’t know that I would be installing them on our visit here.
I was handed the unopened box and let me just say WOW!
This is a well-engineered piece of kit.
Do you have any installation tips?

Any chance this will fit the FJ cruiser? I’d love to have this on my FJ if possible.
Thanks!
Shoot! Sorry I missed this. I cannot imagine it'd fit unfortunately - does the FJ Cruiser have a spoiler?
The reason that's important is because this housing isn't designed to be water tight to the spoiler (and neither was the OEM brake light in the spoiler) - the OEM spoiler has drainage for water that gets behind the housing. That obviously won't fly if you're mounting it on the body though, which is why the version I'm working on for the spoiler-less 4th Gen 'Runners will be sealed.

Thanks for the kind words! Install should be super easy - pull out the old center insert, drop in my insert! If he ordered any of the 'sidecar' attachments those can get put on before or after - either way works!

I would love to have something like this on my FJ…so…if you ever do, please let me know! Thanks!
I suspect my next vehicle acquisition for the business is a GX470, but now I'm curious what sort of opportunities exist in the FJ Cruiser world, hahaha.

I don’t know how much interest there is for something like this…but I wish there was a way to mount ditch lights to factory mirrors (especially my tundra) sort of like the FJ mirror with its light. I’ve done the 3d printed bracket that allows me to mount the diode dynamics pod there. And it’s great. But the angle does not help as much as a dedicated ditch light. Even a bracket that houses the pod and bolts to the mirror housing would be good. Just food for thought.

The Nighthawk Chase light housing is now available for the non-spoiler trucks too!

(excuse my filthy hatch - still refurbing this 4Runner).
There was a ton of effort put into this to keep the hatch watertight - but I think it turned out fantastic! 2x pod lights (Baja S2 or Amazon AKD clones), 3x brake lights, and an option to mount an underslung Wolfbox camera.
