...have you ever seen PK's stable??

Yep.....he and Ms. Jean also don't live in a subdivision with a driveway that can only fit 4 vehicles and parking on the street is not an option......:bang:

Now, if the wife gets her way and we buy some property out in the boonies then all bets are off. I will be LC broke for sure. :deadhorse:

You can park it over here, but I have to warn you. I do charge a drive a week. :). I like driving.

A friend gave me a Truckbed Tent for a mini-truck I'll never use sounds like its something like the picture below. He said it was used twice. If interested come get it and set it up if you like it, keep it, I just ask that you make a donation to the club :)

Hey guys, I know I haven't been around but I enjoy running into ya'll from time to time around town. The time has come to put my LX450 up for sale. We have a growing family (well hopefully no longer growing in members :) and I had to get more practical, blah blah.... I guess I'll just get another cruiser down the road.

I will post some pics up asap. White / Tan Flares 1996 LX450 165k miles. Locked. OME J lift, Slee caster correction plates, 35" Duratracs with plenty of tread left. I bought the truck in June 2009 with 125k miles. No leaks, total mall crawler, embarrassed to say it's never been in mud, or off pavement except for a dirt road in Oklahoma when I took it to a job one time. Oh wait I did take it on a sandy path over by Destin one summer...

I bought her from the original owner. The truck was located in Atlanta all of it's life where it scared all the minivans out of the way as it delivered the kids to soccer practice. It was literally a soccer mom's car. The owner didn't know what the lockers were. From talking with the PO the PHH had gone out at some point and was replaced.

Bad stuff:
Spot on the hood where the gel coat is wearing off
Front seats are cracking, I put some $40 covers on
Center console leather is worn
Rear window lock does not actuate with the remote, have to lock/unlock manually with the key
Wiper washer motors are going out (weak stream)
Front locker didn't engage last time I checked it. Rear locker does engage without a problem. I need to find time to look at it.

Asking $8500 but certainly negotiable. I'll wait a few days to see I anyone here is interested before I put it on craigslist/quick quarter, etc. I'd rather sell it to someone in the club so I can live vicariously through them. I've been getting a kick out of what Mike has done with the yellow 40!

Sorry to see it go Brian but I sure understand the changing family needs. That's a fair shake for a nice cruiser I hope it finds a good local home and finds its way on the trails with us  When you get the pictures up we can replicate a post or do a 4-Sale ad on our FB page where its sure to see some traffic as well :)

You do trades Brian......now why you didn't put this up a mouth ago :(

Brian, sorry to see you let her go but totally get where you are coming from. I will pass the word around also to see if anyone is interested.

BTW, I am glad that I can keep you amused. I have beefed her up and beat her on every trail I've taken her on. She leaks like a sieve but she never leaves me stranded.......except of course when I grenade a radiator hose.......

I'm just happy to see the old girl being used. I think you are doing all the stuff to her that I wanted to do but never had the time.

A friend of mine at work is looking at the white 60 in the Marshall's parking lot. I saw posted it was a members truck a couple owners ago. It has 150k on it now and I wanted to know if it had any issues with it. Was it a good rig when he had it?

Yeah. I went check it out. It has a pretty good
Amount of body rust for down here northern guys would laugh. A pillers. Doors. Wheel wells have a little. Some above rain gutters. Frame isn't that that bad in back like it can. I wouldn't try to restore but it could be a daily driver from body alone. I personally like the winch bumper. It has a snorkel. From what a buddy has said it has been used underwater which might be cause of rust. Interior has a turfy console that is torn up. Couldn't see the drivers seat. Don't know if ripped. The interior looks in decent shape. Couple stickers on dash.

Lots of crud on bottom of engine and looks like a full knuckle rebuild is I order. The power steering box is peeking bad. The front has some weird shackle lowerer don't personally trust it. Rear is lift springs. Looked to have fake beadlocks I would like to know how it sounds I wanna say it was daily driven for a while, because i have left a card in one place and seen it a bunch of times earlier All in all awesome for trail rig.

Issues = yes
Good rig = define "good"
Would I buy it = negative

Larry, looks like that Sequoia is back up for sale again. Can you see Holden driving this one?

I wonder why that's such a kick@ss rig. Holden would be intimidated by a built Sequoia that's how he is with the 80 I've had to make him drive it in the case something happens to me I want him to know what to do. I don't get that boy offer me the keys to that rig when I was his age and I wouldn't have come back till I was out of gas :D He will gladly drive a 40 though . I can't wait to morph the wife's into my own version of that Sequoia I just put a tune-up on it this weekend we'll be running it heavy for the holiday season 210,000 and runs like a champ :)
