the tanks are non-leakers but the overflow is a washer bottle from some other rig. not sure what the application was, but it's "made in japan" and has a home-made mounting bracket on it. the washer motor does'nt seem to work. the bottles held water all day without leaking a drop. $20 for the pair.
$30 for the cluster; here are some pics:

Hmm, the washer tank looks diff from the one on my '74. I don't think my motor will mount up.

RE the cluster - does the speedo work? Odo?

i could'nt drive the rig with the blown engine, but if i turn the speedo cable input, then the needle on the speedo moves. so the speedo works for sure. not sure about the odometer, but i would assume it works as well.
$30 for the cluster plus shipping. it'll have to go ups because it's a little too big for the priority mail flat rate boxes.......

Does the cluster have a parking brake idiot light?

pretty sure it does. there's a red lense below and between the two green turn signal indicator lenses.

Is that for the high beams?

Sorry, I am not trying to belabor this, just want to make sure I can drop this in and have a working odo vs. adding another piece to my Cruiser stash pile in the back of the garage. Every 6 months or so my wife looks at the pile and says, "What is all that stuff?"

If pablo doesn't take the gauge cluster...I will. It beats staring at a rectangular hole in the dash, which is what I have going on now. Also, could you post up a pic of the steering column assembly, I need it for a 76 and I am thinking a 70 is different...so a pic would be helpful.

Thanks

Go for it! I will pass. I think there are some differences and I think I am close to finding a '74 cluster...

Should be a 3 on the tree, mine is. Have any good fixed window seals?

I'm thinking a three on the tree column may not be compatable with my 76 project. Anyone confirm this ? Orange..once we figure the column issue out...how do you want the $ sent ? PPAL ?

Georg,
I am looking for the threaded fitting and part of the line that leaves the rear gas tank on one side or the other. Mine is missing on the passenger side. If the threaded part is there, I'd love to get it so I can thread it on mine and then cap the line a few inches away.
