Bump for similar symptoms. On flat ground, if I romp the pedal it accelerates "OK", I guess. If I let my foot of the gas it feels like I just threw a drag chute out the back, and I slow down dramatically as the rpms come down. I could "coast" while in D from 50 MPH to 0 in 1/4 mile or less on the flat. If it romp on the pedal the same, then shift into neutral, I can coast on the flat for 1/2 mile with a very gradual loss in speed, so it's not bearings, tires, diffs, etc. that are all turning while I coast. I've also had a split-second power loss while towing. Rarely ever registers on the Torque tachometer, or the dash tach, but occasionally will flicker. You can definitely feel it, though. PCV valve recently changed, throttle body cleaned, throttle body (incl APPS and TPS) only about 5 years old. Only happens when it's hot. Because it's only always hot here... Oh, and MPG's are sucking more than usual, I'm at 10-11 mixed, whereas I'm usually 11-13 (all tracked on acar app, so apples-to-apples, unadjusted for the 295's on there). Would weak fuel delivery cause this, or should I look to the tranny?
