Looks Like Body ECU time (rear wiper) (1 Viewer)

Now I replaced the original body ecu 82791-60021 (base model) with a 82791-60010 (power seats with memory) that I found from a Finnish scrapyard.

The rear wiper operates now normally, and it seems that all other functions have no issues! My remote central locking is still not working, but now I guess I can rule this ecu out.

So, at least in this case, a body ecu from higher spec truck works well despite the difference in part number. Nice!

I will update if something comes up later, I might have missed some functions covered by body ecu.

has anyone tried the 99-03 LX470 module in a 99-03 LC? parts number 82791-60030 or 82791-60031. Looks like same connectors.

Have a 99 here with rear wiper staying on.. haven't dug in yet but it did sit outside for three months here through a whole Florida summer (rain every day)

Not sure why your numbers are different then mine but I have swapped, I had 82791-60041. I replaced it with a 82791-60040 and everything works. 2001 LC100 and used an 2001 LX470 module. My guess is all the modules are the same, the numbers are just revisions and subs.

ok awesome. Thank you

My rear wiper is stuck on now .. Had to disconnect the relay for the time being. I believe it is the "82791-60021 Controller & Junction, Instrument Panel" module also. They are not cheap, does anyone know what is in side them? I was considering pulling out mine and seeing if there was a blown relay or something inside.

I have a 2001 HDJ100R.

Are you still repairing these modules?
Not at the moment, parts to repair have dried up, will try and order again but was zeros across the board as of last month.

PCB Level repair.
Sweet. Do you know how to be certain it’s the module that needs repair?

When I turn the wiper on, it moves up and down. When I turn it off on the stalk, it doesn’t stop. It keeps going whether it’s in the off position or any of the other positions. As soon as I turn the car off, the wiper stops wherever it is on the glass. If I turn the car on again with the stalk in the “off” position, the wiper moves to the vertical position and stays there without moving.

Does it sound like the module is the culprit here?
