Looking to trade my 71 FJ40 for a family car/wagon/suv

My build thread is in my signature line.

There are a few loose ends that I will be finishing this week, wipers, marker lights a a few odds and ends, it will be complete before the trade.

Here are some links to some photos of my build. Ive spent over a year restoring my 71 fj40. Dont really want to do this, but my wife's transmission is starting to go, and once it does we will be without a car. Please dont try to trade me your beater.

I need a reliable car for the family so let me know what you have.

How's a black 2000 BMW 328i work for you? tan leather interior, new tires, kept up well and synthetic oil every 5K miles. power everything. harmon kardon sound, upgraded BMW rims, sun/moon roof. KBB on a good condition one is $8900. I think mine's a bit better than good. Has one tiny dent next to the front grill that you'd never notice if I didn't point it out. Paint has the usual minor rock chips on the front as expected. Just had it detailed and it looked like new.

Is there a hard top for it?? Soft top might be tough in a new england winter

1st off Im sorry I never got back to you on the disk brake stuff, between the 3 moves in the last 6 months Ive misplaced my list of parts.

I just want something that my wife will be able to drive the kids around to school in. Fuel efficient would be nice but not a requirement. Volvo, 4runner, whatever really just needs to be reliable easy on my wifes eyes...

I have a 2002 nissan pathfinder. 100,000 mostly highyway miles. synthetic oil. Putting new exhaust in it this week and brand new brakes went in the front last month.
 
no problemo about the disc brake stuff...moves can be hectic...I knew a guy who was sellling his toyota camry a while back...let me check into that, he may want a FJ...camrys are good on fuel :)
