Curious thoughts on the swap. 3rd gen is a manual 3.4L
2013 has 205k vin number JTEBU5JROD5127410
Additionally curious if 2013 holds any merit being the last frame of its type.

I got rid of my 5th gen as rear doors wouldn’t open very far and it was miserable to get a car seat in and out. I am not sure if they changed that through the years or if there was a way to fix it aftermarket

What did you end up with?

Our progression from 0 to 4 kids went like this:

99 4R, 100 series, 200 series, 1st gen Seq, 2nd gen Seq. If you've got kids and car seats and a lot of gear and want a good reliable 4wd daily driver, the Sequoia is kind of hard to beat. If we wouldn't have had so many kids we would still have the 200.

Nothing out mini-vans a mini van. If you have car seats, the Sienna is awesome. But for just one child, (congratulations, by the way!) a Sienna is a little overkill. I'd say you'll appreciate the little extra room compared to the 3rd gen.
