My son had my 76 pig parked by a dirt road on the SE side of Tucson and someone broke out passenger window and cargo window. They stole a couple of tool boxes out of the rear. I also need to know what weatherstrip to use for the cargo window as 40 years in the AZ sun has pretty much destroyed ant chance of reusing old. Thanks for any help Mud can provide.

Im in Texas and have an extra set of cargo window glass. As for cargo w/s I think your best bet would be slocruisers or classic cruisers in salida, co may have an old window with weatherstripping they would sell you. pm me if you're interested in mine

That sucks. I dont even lock my pig because id rather them steal my crap than break my rig. I have a left side cargo rubber and a cargo glass. I think cargo glass is ambidextrous.

If my searchs are correct, the side windows are tempered and about 3/16" thick
The laminated glass is 1/4" and doesnt roll up and down well. I could use laminated in the cargo but if i could find oem i would go that way. I think i will have to use a universal weatherstrip.

You are correct, that laminated is thicker. The door glass works if you use the right weatherstrip. I had a glass guy install mine. Something else, the new glass has a tint to it where as the old Land Cruiser glass doesn't. Seems like all my old glass has some scratches and has some haze to it.

Yes, I saw that ad when it came out. I looked for it as soon as i knew I had a need, but it had already been pulled. I am working with extremeVA since he has both pieces. Being 200 miles away from pig makes it difficult to have an unwanted project. I know that I am being derelict in not posting a picture and I will as soon as I figure out how. I really appreciate all the responses and advice. It takes special kind of crazy to keep hanging on to these old rigs. I have had mine for around 30 years and still enjoy driving her. One of my Daughter-in - laws named her Penelope
