Wanted Looking for hydrolic line from clutch master to slave

If you have one in great condition I am interested. This is for a 71fj40...

Or maybe someone can point me in the right direction where they sell new ones... I found one stainless type, buts its listed at 35 plus 15 shipping,,, a bit steep me thinks...

You can order the lines from the dealer pretty cheaply... keep in mind that if they can't pull up numbers for a 40 the lines for a 60 will work.

I made one from a store brought J brake line and bender.

Pretty easy to do and cheap too.

i don't think so. the 60 has the slave on the passenger side. the 71 fj40 has a 3 spd and the slave is on the driver side. the dealer should be able to look up the proper part number on the microfiche. if not, i can look it up for you; i have a lot of the early factory manuals.

i might even have the line if you don't want to make your own.

is yours messed up or missing alltogether?!

ps: do you need the steel tube or the rubber hydro line?

Thx for the replies... Its missing altogether. And I will need both parts, the tube, and Hydro line. I spotted them on SOR and I can get a new set with stainless hydro line for about 50 shipped.

I guess I just didnt think it would cost that much for a couple feet of hose... Guess I was wrong...

Orangefj45, if you have the set up, and its in good shape, I would be willing to take it off your hands...
