Ok, hoping some of you electrical or electronics gurus have a solution for this one. I need to rebuild the door harnesses while I'm adding power windows, and the bulkhead grommets need to be replaced, they're all dried and cracked. These are the grommets where the wires go from the doors into the body. I've searched every way I can and can't find a direct replacement. The hole in the door is kinda large, 1-1/8", but it needs to neck down to make weatherproof seal.

Any ideas where I can get these things? Tried Digi-Key and McMaster-Carr. Maybe I'm searching on the wrong thing?

I've been searching for replacements myself. The rubber just doesn't hold up well after 25+ years. No luck for me either, but I think something can be jerry-rigged. I'm now trying to find a silicon rubber grommet that won't deteriorate over time with a center hole small enough to still be snug over the wire bundles, then take some sealant (likely polyurethane caulking or something similar) around where the wires pass through. On the other hand, unless you do deep river crossings you won't have to worry about water getting in anyway and can put some shrink wrap around the wire bundle where it passes through the grommet and be good to go.

Long story short, I don't think there's any kind of cut n' dry solution at this point.
