Hey guys -
I am at the point that I need to paint the body on my frame off. It needs some work but is not too complicated because it is on a body dolly and has nearly nothing to tape off. It does need a bit of filler and prep and then paint. Base coat / clear coat.
Any suggestions would be good. It is not going to be a show truck but I don't want an Earl Shiit/Maaco deal. I don't have the time or ability to do it myself right. I am in no big hurry.
Let me know if you guys have any decent places. I had one guy tell me $7500. There is no freakin' way I am paying that. I have had cars painted well for less than $2000 with a considerable amount of body work and masking and a color change.
