Wait, Kenny won the grand prize? He is close with the bod, raffle must have been rigged :flipoff2:
I pulled the ticket from the raffle bag. I was 3 numbers off from winning the fridge myself. However, the driver's prize couldn't have gone to a nicer couple.

Wow...where to start. I am glad to hear such positive feedback and that everyone had a good time. I need to give a thank you to each of the attendees. As you know, we were allowed to use Shadowlands as a trial as they do not allow just anyone to use this facility. How we treated it goes a long way to options for future use. Especially Relic Run. As much as I love Group Camp the truth is that Relic Run has outgrown it. As we left Shadowlands I barely found anything in regards to trash, etc. From a standpoint of "leaving it better than you found it"......You guys killed it. Thank you.

HUGE......thank you to all the BOD that put in time on this. It was a huge undertaking to try and recover from a hurricane postponement but everyone pitched in and it came together nicely. @lumbee1 thank you for yet another killer shirt design. Banner looked fantastic and your help throughout the whole process is greatly appreciated. @Green Hell Mustang thanks for the work on the stickers and helping Stacy with the website. @fourtrax and @4LowandSlow thanks for the work you guys put in on the maps. They looked great. @blue98stang Thank you for all the hard work gathering sponsors. That was a haul and I hope you all enjoyed the variety at the raffle. Also, the work in making the registration process go so smoothly. Thanks to @Fort Knox and @forrest5000 for all the behind the scenes work and counsel. Events like these reinforce how much each of you means to this club and it's success. Also thanks to @JohnVee and @GLTHFJ60 for the continued support. Even though they are not in office at the moment, these guys still provide ideas, suggestions and assistance that keep this show going.

Another HUGE thanks to our great sponsors. Without their continued support events like this would not be possible. So before buying parts or accessories make sure you look at that Sponsor list. See what they offer. Buy from them any chance you can and let them know you appreciate their support of these events. Let them know their sponsor dollars are well spent.

Thanks Logan. Your spirit and passion is what inspired us and I hope you're proud of what this group has become. Kenny and Lydia you guys are amazing and an example to us all. Love you guys.

I never stop being amazed at this group. How quickly old faces and new can connect and become instant friends. I love how when something goes haywire with a trail failure and how quickly people come to their aid and support in every way imaginable. You guys are awesome and I cannot wait to see you all at the barn for Christmas. I hope you guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving and see you all soon. There is so much more to say but I don't want this post to turn into a novel. lol I'm sure I am missing a chance to thank someone so my apologies in advance.
I would in turn like to thank the Rymers (@erymer and @blue98stang) for their massive contribution to making Logan's Run such a huge success. Not only did they find the venue after Flo shut down Uwharrie, but they spent the entire weekend manning the tent, organizing raffle prizes, and putting together registration packs. They were the first ones there and the last to leave. Their devotion to the club is what makes this group special. However, I would like to see them have some fun on the trails at the next event.

As a member of the BoD, I would love to get your feedback on the event to make it even better going forward. What did you like and didn't like? How was the food? What can we do to improve the event?

PM me if you would like to discuss offline.

Yet he was not pulling the tickets and running the raffle like you and your buddy were when you two won.

@alk747triodad i'm still waiting to hear how many PBR's and Yoohoo's fit in that bad boy.

Check fridge off of that list my friend.

Lumbee my feedback is "So far every year better than before."
My advice is maintain course and speed and prepare for growth
Well done Rymers, BOD, Monks and all the rest.

I would like to thank everyone who attended the 2018 Logan's Run event. While it was rescheduled both in time and location it was still a great success, that would not be possible without the volunteered support given by everyone in the Club and the awesome generosity of the sponsors who support our passions. I would especially like to thank the Rymers (@erymer and @blue98stang) who did an awesome job coordinating everything in the background leading up to the event all the way through till the end, which doesn't stop when the last person leaves camp. While there are others on the BOD and within the club who supported them (as we know we can only succeed as a team effort). Just like past Presidents and Event Coordinators I know they are proud of what they accomplished as it is a great feeling knowing the hours of work you carved out of your day to volunteer to the joy of others was received so well. This passion and volunteer spirit is what makes this club so great.
Again a special tanks to all of you who continue to support others by volunteering your time and knowledge.

You mean the kids that were pulling the tickets? You're right, I paid them off with lolly pops and tootsie rolls.

I thought we put this behind us? It was a joke dude.

Dumb joke

OK I confess, the fridge/freezer is still in the box in the back of Logan's LC. I want to have a mini fridge Hamom at the barn so that I can have both cruisers set up for the fridge; depending on which cruiser I will be driving. I really have not had time between work and honey do list to check it out. I know this club can give me ideas of what I need to do to be able to swap the fridge between the two LC's.

I know everyone has their own ideas but to keep it simple, I installed a constant hot cigarette lighter plug in the rear of the Cruiser. I ran either 12 or 14 gauge wire from a fuse block under the hood to the plug in the back. If you have a cigarette light plug in both trucks, swapping the fridge is really simple.

* I have an Edgestar and it came with a 12V cigarette lighter plug to 12V polarized plug.

Since I had enough power to handle the fridge and accessories, I installed a 3 position panel as well to charge phones and monitor the battery.

^I added something very similar to the back of mine but in one of the positions I put a switch.
That way while it was parked I could switch off the panel and not drain the battery.
While it's on the voltage readout and live charging ports are great.

The solution depends where you intend to keep the fridge in the truck. If in the back, you'll need to install a cigarette lighter or other power connection. In the 80, you probably already have power ran to the back for the sub.

Alternately, if you keep it second row, the cord will likely make it to the stock cigarette lighter. Strap it down with a seat belt.

Don't need the three position thing, although it is slick. A single Anderson connector or a cigarette lighter will do the trick fine.

I installed the same thing. Absolutely love it. The 3 ports are great when you have the truck out working on a project and can just plug the phones up. Easy install too. I love the switched power idea Sean.

Like this one? I did the same on my truck, like the ability to shut off all the power just in case, like when I was driving to VT last month and the alternators decided it liked NC better and wouldnt work. But found out the switch little light being way too bright! piece of black tape over it.....very ghetto.

How hard was that to wire up?

Pretty easy, just ran some 10Ga wire through the firewall to a fuse box that I had added on the passenger side wheel arch. If you look through my Amateur Hour thread, its all in there. Added the fuse box when I installed ham radio

I installed my 3 port thingy in a project box with extra long cables so that I can move it around the truck if I need to. Fits snugly between the pass seat and the console.

indont know that it works, but I just feel like that needs a " that's what she said".
