I decided to add rear Eaton e-lockers to my LC. Work is performed by Outlander Motorsports in Martinez California. I am not re-gearing the diff. I have 33s (the standard AT Ko2). I was thinking about installing front as well but I have an 3x 80 and I don't think I've ever needed the front locked.
I was going to use a 100 series diff switch from a 98-99 LC. A few questions for the community:
Is there a rear diff indicator switch on the instrument cluster that I can wire to? (I'm guessing there isn't on an 06.)
Does anyone have experience with Outlander Motorsports? (Online reviews are good)
Has anyone gone with this rear locker set-up?

Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you Dan.

You can take a flashlight and see the non-illuminated lights on your cluster.

No need to disable ATRAC. It’ll just not detect wheel spin in the rear when the rear locker is activated.

i dont know the answers, but i have an 04 with ATRAC, and the system is highly capable. i imagine you would want a way to disable / defeat ATRAC in order to use your locker
ATRAC works pretty well but its left me stuck a few times. I have a 3x 80 that I've never gotten stuck before and I don't think I've ever used the front locker. I was hopping the rear locker would be a good fix. I don't think ATRAC needs to be disabled because it wouldn't engage since the rear wheels will not be spinning freely of the other.--Dan

Thanks. I'll take a look at the cluster today. Not too excited about pulling it for a light, although that would be nice.

I cannot speak for 06/07LC but my 06LX gauge cluster does not have that rear diff lock light provision.

My 98 has factory diff lock and I think there's a sensor in the diff to check if the diff is actually locked and trigger a LED, please correct if I'm wrong.
I'm adding Eaton e-locker onto the front diff of my LC, I'm planning to use the FZJ80 diff lock switch and I would run into the same problem getting a LED display for front locker too

I think you're right. My 80 will light up on the dash after I hear the solenoid engage on the diff. Not sure if there is a diff lock LED in the dash though. May I ask where you are getting the install done?

For my 100LC, I'm doing it myself since I know alot more about diff setup. 30 years ago for my FJ40 I pulled out the diffs and had shop in Santa Clara did the installation of the ARB lockers onto the diffs. If you're in SF maybe give Mudrak in Sonoma a call. Here's the shop I used for my ARB locker setup some 30 years ago:
