Hey Mud,

Going to go ahead and upgrade my lj78’s battery cables. Just wondering if anyone has any advice or tips in regards to doing the upgrade. Happy to replace as much as I can also also add a trans to chassis ground while I’m at it.

Assuming I’m better off just buying cable and matching it to oem length?

Would love to see setups and or additional grounds, improvements made by others and advice. New territory to me, haven’t done this before.

Thanks,
R

I would recommend getting a good set of hydraulic hex crimpers and Fastronix "military style" terminals along with whatever cables you find. I can post pictures if you like, but I re-wired my batteries about a year ago and I'm really happy with how it all turned out. Get some dialectic grease for the posts and a fire extinguisher in case you screw up.
