Hello to all. Not sure I’m in the right group as I did not see LJ73 in title. I purchased about 6 months ago with 112,000 km. As a precaution I replaced timing belt, idlers, water pump, clutch, and all fluids. Had to put in a new alternator with vacuum pump and replaced auto hubs with manual. Looking forward to some outings this fall.

Does anyone know where to purchase seat extensions that will move the front seats back a bit?

No one makes them that I know of. And if they did it would possibly deform or break the mounts by placing all the strain on the rear mounts. I have a thick high density foam cushion I sit on. It lifts me up an inch or 2 and gives me more leg room. Or raise the seat somehow.

Raising the drivers position makes it feel like you are in a big truck, I rather liked it. Still plenty of head room.

probably fixed this by now.. but you can unbolt the seat from the sliders... then bolt "unistrut" to the sliders... and bolt the seat to the unistrut an inch or two back. Works great.
