Daryl glad to hear the wifes getten better!

See yawl on the trail!

Time to post some progress pics.... of the trailer - not the wife!!!Just a bit more to do then some wire wheel action, some paint, and add the floor. It's starting to look like something now. 26' plus a 4' dovetail should haul the slide-in and my junk with a little room to spare.

Nice work.

I have to find the pic of the pop tent trailer w/ the wheels/undercarriage removed and mounted to a duely tandem axle trailer (?who knows how long). The J**P was hauled on it and when removed they put a screen porch up on the trailer! That's my idea of roughin it! ...this is coming from someone who's still waitin for his tent to dry from Gilmer.

It's 26' +4" so it is a bit long for the slide in and one rig but I built it to haul two rigs later if I wana... There should be about 4' between the camper and the front of the rig. Should be just enough room to bring along the 4wheeler if we feel the need.

Dovetails are gay.

You just have dovetail envy:flipoff2:

lookin good. You need some room between camper and rig so you can us camper on the road on long trips.

There is military OD green then all the "lesser" shades. If such a large number of the WToE members have managed to hit the correct colour how hard can it be?

Didn't we just have this conversation at K-Rocks? Not that it matters one bit to me but there were/are several "shades" of OD green in use by WToE and, depending on what branch of the military, and the era of service, there are several "correct" shades. Seriously, I was just pokin fun at Kowboy cause I know he is not happy with the current color on his GN trailer. I used Rustolem black cause it's cheap, available anywhere, works well on rusty metal, and looks OK for a while. I'm white trash and that's good enough for me!

Hi Roger, had that in mind too. Made sure to fab some hangers for the foldong stairs on both sides between the back of the camper and the front of the rig, pleanty of room for the door to open, access to the clean-outs, etc. The pics make it look a lot better than it is, not as nice as yours, but I think it will work for us.

On a side note, we have been trying to figure out a way to get over to GSMTR for even a day or two but it's just not going to work out. Got two days of meetings and folks coming in for a plant tour right in the middle:mad: . I know this is supposed to be your last year running the show and really wanted to come over to show some support. Well, maybe next year and you'll have more free time to wheel??? Best of luck with the event!
