synapse Hey, I am not trying to be funny. Seriously, with this ARB Linx, super sweet looking device... but do you know can one ARB Linx operate upfront in the cab while a 2nd ARB is mounted near the rear hatch and be operational?

No joke, I seriously do not know... I am curious, can you shed any insight on whether a secondary/redundant ARB Linx system can be mounted in a functional manner elsewhere?

Are you talking about independantly of each other? I'm not sure as I don't know anyone running them yet.

But if you're talking about what i think you're talking about, on the Switch-Pros you can daisy chain multiple switch panels. So one in the front and say one in the rear cargo area, but these will act as the same controller, just gives you access to the same power module(if you get what I mean).

...yeah, for sure. There’s a market apparently full of well-developed product, I agonize over this kind of stuff.

Redundancy is an issue because the wife and I will be fine no matter what, I have already been on life support twice in my life, certain chit we are both OK with...but my 7 year old will be with us, so if he needs stitches or the like after daddy or mommy bump the truck into something I do not want to lose the air lockers no matter what. Heard that a forlorn and injured hunter in Idaho got a $160K bill for pressing the button on a SAT. No THANKS.

Also as another option there is the ARB Linx. Very modular and fully feature packed. Only downside is all the add-on modules you'll need to purchase depending on what you want it to do.

I highly considered this before going with my switchpro

I struggled with this same decision before committing to the Bantam. Loved the idea of the LINX, preset tire pressure adjustment through the ARB twin compressor, etc, but the proprietary android touchscreen spooked me. I loved that sPod runs bluetooth via any ordinary phone. My set up has the slaved touchscreen in the rear cargo area still I can and use my iPhone up front for primary control, wirelessly. Also, the sPod plays nice with the Alpine iLX CarPlay head unit. With the addition of a KAC1000 controller, you can integrate the sPod controls into the head unit touchscreen and have the ultimate in clean plug n’ play set up. Lastly, the sPod Bantam can be daisychained with little more than a standard ethernet cable.
