I'll zip tie it on tonight and experiment in different locations but wondering what others consider the ideal location is for a front-facing, combo spot/flood light bar........thx!

I don't have extra lights on the BJ73 yet. I know about the reflection from piloting boats that had lights on the roofs that also lit up the foredeck. Not good. I will put a light bar on the front brush guard and a couple small LED floods at a 45 degree side angle on the roof rack and perhaps 1 wired into the backup light.

I'm sold - down low it is.....thx for the feedback!

Middle center FTW:

Slim light bar on the bumper. Amber lights for snow on the bumper. White and amber up high for throwing light. A matte vinyl on the hood eliminates and glare from the light bar on the roof.

We have a 20” Rigid spot/flood combo in the front bumper. It’s wired to the OEM high-beam switch. It’s amazing!
The three pods on the roof are spots. They’re great for slower trail driving, not that great as high beams on the road.
I highly recommend ditch lights or roof mounted light at a 45-60deg out. We use those more than any other.
