Lifting Line X (1 Viewer)

The Line X on my 80 is lifting at the corner of one of the doors after denting it on my last trip out. Tried googling and Youtubing but cannot find anything on re gluing it down. Anyone else deal with this before? Thinking epoxy but that will make real mess if it doesnt work.

If it were one of the DIY products, I’d glue it down with a bit more of the same product. Since it is Line-X, I’d go to them and see what they recommend. It may be covered by warranty.

I had a career in rubber technology. On the rare occasions we had to glue rubber to itself or some other substrate we tried Loctite 380 "Black Max" first. It is a rubber modified cyanoacrylate (super glue). It is tough rather than brittle like normal super glues.
