Hi all,
The short story: I bought this LC with a lift already installed. Don’t know how it was lifted or which lift was used.
Looking at the tires, camber is slightly off. My mechanic said that when the alignment was done after the new tires, all ranges were green.
I’m afraid tires will wear out unevenly.
Is there anything I can do to improve the slight camber offset?

I'm no expert at all on this category and I could have camber VS caster and all of my terms mixed up here....BUT I went through this recently and alignment tech + mud members explained to me that with a lift you can only get so much adjustment out of the stock setup.. upper control arms needs to be replaced with aftermarket once lifted beyond a certain point to be able to get full adjustment on alignment rack
>> Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

How lifted are you? measure from center of hub cap to fender lip. Over 22"?

What does this mean? Doesn't that mean alignment print out was good to go but you just think visually it looks bad?

I’ll have to measure to see how tall it is but I don’t believe it to be more than a 2 inch lift.

What I ment by all ranges are green is, when you get the alignment report from the shop, the report prints in red or green showing proper alignment in green and when it’s off it’s red.
I guess that’s how it was explained to me at the shop.
What you said about the upper control arms makes sense but if anyone else has any input on this I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Caster between 2.5 and 3 degrees is what I aim for. Factory spec is between 1.8 to 3.3. Caster is adjusted by the eccentric cams on the upper control arm (UCA) bolts.

These needs to be adjusted BEFORE the toe bc as caster is adjusted the toe-in will change. Toe is adjusted by the tie rods that connect the steering rack to the knuckle.

Most chain/quick tire shops won't touch the cam bolts if its in the green, even if they could be adjusted closer to spec, just bc its more work. They just set the toe and send it. Your print outs will show this, if that's the case.

Camber ends up landing wherever based on setting the caster.

Good info here: Understanding 100 Series Caster Alignment

Do you have a printout of the last alignment? Sometimes lifted trucks give that look of having negative Camber or too much Caster, Camber should stay under 1* for most vehicle lifted or not Caster is a little different.

Mine looks the same. always bothered me. but the readings are spot on and was told it straightens as i'm driving down the road every time i align it (every year or when work has been done)

No tire wear issues. had the 100 for 10 years, 7 of them lifted. with oem and then spc UCA's.

I had Google do the math and, for a 33" tire, the FSM max camber spec (0.08 degrees +0.75 = 0.83 degrees) works out to be a half-inch (0.478") outward/positive cant when comparing the top of the tire to the bottom.

Doesn't change much for a 35" tire.
