how are those rockets guided? do they even know what they are gonna hit when they fire them?

Not sure about the rockets but at least one bullet found its mark.

Looks like Gaddafi made his last ride on the hood of a 79series....

no pleasant pictures

Hope those cruisers get a calm and tidy retirement

not necessarily just for water, looks like all of them have pre-filter cleaners for the dust.

awesome pics....but i'm almost gettin tired of 7x pickups! lol.

right .. actually factory Toyota Snorkel was not created for deep water crossing .. in fact you need to " seal " it before you attempt use it to cross deep water ..

"not necessarily just for water, looks like all of them have pre-filter cleaners for the dust." ............I doubt engine "wear and tear" was very high on their daily "bucket list". Living to see sundown was probably a bigger concern.:)

I hope they have a bounty or some incentive program to collect up all those deadly weapons.

Unfortunately the "incentive program" is more commonly referred to as the "black market".

yep, i hear ya. prolly still the same oil in there since they were "taken". just goes to show how fortunate some other countries are.

It would be interesting to know what the writings say that are all over the sides and hoods. My guess would be " don't shoot I am with the A
team" or something like that.:)

This war has been a true testament to the epic nature of the 7x series vehicle.

I am lucky to say that I saw them manufactured in Japan and vow that my ashes will be buried in one.

:)

cruiser

I'm the same Beno! After driving a couple in Africa I fell in love with them. I actually traded a couple of rifles for a 2001 cruiser in 2006 while I was in Africa. After 6 months of trying to legally import the vehicle without luck, I had to call the deal off.
When Proffitt's got the new 70 bodies in I knew I had to have one. I'll be broke when and if I ever get it built but I'll have my cruiser!!!
I knew of an old PH in Africa that when his time grew near, he loaded his old cruiser box with wood, soaked it with petrol and drove to the Zambezi Valley escarpment. He died on the way but got a really good friend to load him in the back of his old cruiser and set the whole deal on fire. A proper funeral, Africa style!!
