dude ur truck is badass, that chinook fits perfectly, makes me want to do the same
Thank you!! Do it!!!!!! I would love if my lx450+chinook had a few siblings!!! You would be amazed at the size of the interior space considering it still fits in a regular parking spot. Its not as complicated as it seems. Just takes time planning and building. Happy to give any insights and experience when your ready.. Im actually tempted to start another one because I can't find the desire to sell my other lx450 but then Id probably be single.

Wow, amazing build so far. Definitely sub'd for more!
Thanks Yotasavg. I wish I could do a better job documenting for everyone. I get less and less time with it every year. Hopefully this Spring I will iron out all the final wishes I have for it.

@SWCruiser any updates? I've only read through this thread no less than 30 times at this point

Sorry guys! I’ve used it a few times and haven’t had a lot of time for working on it. I’ll provide some updates in dec.making a few important changes. Been stuck remodeling a cabin!

You’re prob tired of hearing this but great job!
Thank You! I feel bad I haven’t had a chance to really work on the rig and provide updates. I just haven’t had a good chunk of time to get some cool mods done. I did some boring but necessary updates over the holidays.

Installed new fender gaskets.
Rear backup camera
1” rear spring spacers
Landtank 2.5” castor correction

hey men!!! I just did a long trip on my 80 and now been looking for something like this for a while. Great work

I have a question on the legality of it all. Does the DMV care that the back is cut and stuff? or does it still get insured and titled the same as a normal land cruiser?

thanks!
