Not saying which route is better, but 7” round LED lamps have really come down in price. I run them in 2 different vehicles and have never had a problem with them. High and Low both work straight out of the box. About the same price as that harness.

If you want the dash light to work, yes.

I used a $30 eBay adapter on mine. There’s a bunch of people making things that are plug and play now.

If you place a load resistor from the (+) pos side of the feed to your high beam to ground, you will get the blue dash light.
The actual resistor to be 2.5k to 5k ohm might do it.
I researched and found multiple solutions.
It is easier to get a conversion harness connector already made:
Heaps of options on amazon.

A better alternative:
The 7" sealed LED units are HEAPS better than LED bulb conversions.
I was given a set (with damaged plastic lenses) and they outperform any conventional H4 solution. (I created my own wiring harness, took me 3 weeks to figure out, and about $80aud in parts)
I could have ordered the wiring kit online for $70 and possibly have a better looking solution.

So there's multiple solutions to confuse you.... reach out if you want additional info!
