Well happy Easter/April fools day (don't worry, this one is not a trick!)

Today I did a quick-ish (longest video so far!) diagnosis and repair on my turn signal. Fairly straightforward procedure so long as you can remember the basics, and break the problem into smaller parts.

Hope you enjoy this one!

One day I can solve the fault.
The next day I can set wires on fire.
The next day I electrocute myself.
The invisible mystifies me frequently.

This is great. Much love MoMo.

Hey everyone, here is Episode 8, a little on the preventative side so hopefully you don't have to look for the problem later!

Little bit of a different direction for this episode, covering electrical crimp connections, how to make proper ones, know they are good, and the tools you need.

Doing it properly is easy with the right tools!

Had a request for a video about dual battery systems - here is how mine is wired in the BJ70, with explanations of why. Hope it helps someone at some point!

Back to some more of the basics for this episode - why you shouldn't upsize fuses, what the different color crimp connections mean, and why you don't get a shock from a 12V car battery.

Enjoy - I hope it helps!

Anyone want to learn about relays?

Excellent!
Just found this thread. I will now refer people here when they ask basic questions about electrical.

Awesome - thanks!

Time for a switch?

Hello,

If only an acquaintance of mine had seen your video on relays before attempting to wire six spotlights to his truck...

This may be just my monitors requiring calibration but I want to mention it anyway.

The brightness/contrast settings on the last three videos make the whiteboard hard to read. It appears the board's white background is a bit too bright.

Could you please check this?

Thanks for this feedback - I have noticed this and will try to come up with something to make it a better contrast - these are all filmed on my phone and unfortunately it seems to adjust the contrast as I am filming .

Well folks sorry for the slow down, life has been busy! Did manage to get a Weekend Getaway in last weekend, it’s not tech, but you might enjoy it anyway!
