I have a '78 40 series with "tired" (or so it would seem) leaf springs.. I happen to have a set of leafs off of a '73 (oem) They appear to measure 1" taller. are they interchangeable? The only difference I see is the "military wrap" is not present on the '78 springs.... Otherwise, width and pin location seem the same.
