Well this is my first video clip from Black Bear Pass today. Its just the steps and the blind turn, but the weather was great and we had a blast despite the traffic jam coming down. Best traffic jam view ever.




Also I enjoyed this shot of the MFD.

I checked my surroundings for safety, but didn’t see any so I went about my fun.

We had a fantastic day on Poughkeepsie followed by Picayune and Placer Gulches. Both Mineral Creek and Poughkeepsie were in great shape and still offered some fun lines.

I didn’t manage many photos…but here‘s one as we finally dropped back down…rounding the turn toward Animas Forks/Silverton options. Awesome group & a fun day!

PS. That’s @indycole on his crazy 35.5” tires. He’s done major adjustment since last week and they were pretty spectacular to see scampering over obstacles like boots over pebbles.

Looks like a good event and crowd with a few of familiar faces. Maybe next year my kids school schedule will line up better!

I did pass a couple of sweet 200’s as I made my Journey back East this week!

This is the full video of the descent down Black Black Bear. Of note is the successful use of turn assist on the third switchback and a helicopter rescue out in the distance while at the top of the switchbacks.
