I’m about to install an OME lift on my 2014 LC, and I’m in the process of gathering all experiences on this site before starting the job. I remembered reading a particular thread where someone shared lesson learned/tool needed before starting the job. I searched and I searched and went through line by line back through June but it couldn’t find it. Can someone be kind and point it out for me please?

Thank you sir! The first one was the one I remember reading. I was pinching myself for not saving it the first time reading it.

As long as you can get the KDSS valves open, it's a very straight-forward job. If you have RR shocks, getting the hose routing sorted out and supports installed is the only real challenge.

No rust on the KDSS valves so I'm hopeful. Gonna attempt to open it ahead of time to see if I need to spray it. Maybe I should just spray it anyway. Not plan on any fancy remote reservoir at this moment.

First just try to get it to turn with an allen key socket. If she won't budge then you can start with penetrants. At 105k mine turned without much fanfare. But yes, get this sorted out ahead of time.
