Hello Cruiser buddy!
I would like to know if it is necessary to replace the lateral/panhard rod for the LC200 after the lift? I installed the OME 2721 rear spring. As far as i know the purpose of the rod is to centered the rear axle and straighten the propeller shaft.

how many of you here have replace to adjustable panhard rod?

many thanks!

Mines still stock and everything is lined up and fine. My truck gained around 5" -+ once I added the icons on 35's. What's making you think about this?

From reading threads on Australian sites, the general consensus is that an adjustable panhard will most likely be needed when lifting a 200 around the 4" mark. That doesn't mean that 4" will require a panhard, but that it is highly likely. Toughdog makes an adjustable panhard for the 200, though I have not seen any for sale in the US, nor have I seen a 200 with one installed in the US. Then again, not many people have 200s that are lifted 4" or more either. There have been a number of people on this site that have complained about their rear axle being out of whack though.

I noticed that the other side of the tire was sticking a little bit out than the other side. does the alignment of the axle has to do with the alignment of the rear coil spring? The reason i ask because the left rear spring had a clunking sound when i run over a speed bump. the spring on top is progressive (ome 2721)and it touches one another and make a clunking sound.

Found another pan hard bar option for you :

My LC200 has the Icon Stage I which is basically a 2 inch lift and the rear end wiggles like a mofo when going over bumps
on the highway. Problem is I can't tell if just an adjustable track bar will correct the issue or will it need the trackbar riser also?

Hmmm... If you have a 2” lift...and the rear is sloppy, it would be very strange if it had anything to do with the panhard rod...

I agree. Actual coil interference and a “klunk” could totally be related to the geometry out of whack from an increased suspension height, along with an offset axle. But handling shouldn’t have that outcome.

Fwiw we stock the Dobinson 200 rear adjustable track/panhard bars if anyone’s in need. We’ve had great luck with them!
