There is a shell of a 55 near me (and I mean shell--no interior, no doors, no glass, no hood, engine, tranny, etc..) What it does have are the front and rear axle/diff/hubs. It is a later model with discs up front. For my '73, how hard would it be to swap the later model axles to gain the newer braking? Also, are the later model diffs a different ration? Are then stronger/better (heard that somewhere)?
thanks,

am in the process of swapping front disks and rears off of a 1979 piggy onto a 74 with 4 corner drums; have added the upgraded booster off the 79 also...........overall it is not that big a deal except had to rebuild knuckles, brakes + slaves..........got to be pricey when factored that into the equation
