Wanted Late 70s or newer FJ40

I'm looking for an FJ40. I'm looking in all the usual places but figured I'd throw this up in case someone has something not listed anywhere.

I'd like something that needs as little work as possible as I'm buying to drive it, not to work on it. Between my job and being in the Guard I have little free time and the last thing I need is another project. I have time for maintenance and small upgrading but no time for full restores. I'm looking to keep it forever and leave it to my nephew when I croak (hopefully many years from now).

Must haves:
- an original engine that doesn't need tons of work (no v8 swaps)
- body with no holes
- as stock as possible as I like the original look of the truck and am not crazy about mods
- respectable paint condition (I don't want to have to repaint it anytime soon)
- ambulance doors

Would be nice:
- 1977 model (I was born in 77, so I guess you could say I'm looking for a 40 for my 40th)
- green or blue
- as close to PA as possible

Budget is 20k, but would consider a slightly more expensive truck if it hit more of my wants.

My suggestion is check the LA,denver,NM,portland and Dallas craigslist under land cruiser and landcruiser......have someone local inspect it....one should pop up within a year or two (that is a screamin deal)...you would need to move fast once you find one as there are twenty other guys looking at the same ad...some are flippers. Good luck on your hunt ...and don't settle......also, if just one thing abt the cruiser sounds off....move to the next - lots of rotted frames, blown motors, layers of bondo etc

I have a great 66' daily driver that's 99% original. Original 6 cyl engine. Was repainted and reupholstered 12 years ago and looks like it has just enough patina. The body is very solid and the only rust areas are on both interior front wheel wells. All other body panels are totally rust free. it has manual 3 speed. Drives and runs perfect. Had on eBay for $10k, but I'll take $9.5k. Its in my garage in Las Vegas and my wife wants ro park her car inside.
