They just left Chino CA. With the holidays it will be a little longer

You replace the OEM alternator bracket with a custom one that alllows for the physically larger alternator. You could put back the OEM alternator if you also have the OEM bracket with you. The install is not bad at all.

Delivery date is Jan 2nd.

Part of the design was to make these electrically compatible with the OEM alternator harness. That way as long as you have the OEM adjustment bracket on hand you can install a factory Alternator no differently than any other 80.
