Landcruiser 100 series 1HD-FTE cranking but not starting

I have a 2003 LandCruiser Amazon 1HD-FTE which is cranking strong but not starting. Could someone please help me in how I can diagnose if this is an electrical fault or a mechanical fault. Has anyone utilised medtro's EFI Relay Bypass Kit or even a similar kit for the 4.2 turbo diesel engine. It feels like it is not getting fuel but it is very difficult to diagnose the exact cause.

If its cranking and not starting, its definitely not getting fuel. I'd suggest post in the diesel forum or some of the aussie facebook pages, they are all over it.
