Kootenay Meet-up 2022

Hey Everyone,

There is some discussion and interest on Facebook for a club meet-up in the Kootenays this summer. (in addition to Cruiser Days currently being planned for the Squamish area)

Post up dates and locations and general discussion here.

The club typically covers the cost of food for these events, so keep your receipts and e-mail/text them to me.

I'm letting the Kootenay-Boundary crew (Brian (Cranbrook), Bruce (Creston), Brad (Castlegar), Martin (just down the road from Brad), Vince (Grand Forks), Jason (Grand Forks), Mel (Grand Forks)) settle on a date that works best for them.

I think some of the old mine trails into the mountains could be interesting if the roads are still intact.
Where was the last club run to the kootenays ~20 yrs ago? Trout Lake area?

It's now cheaper to take a 2-way trip in the ferry than a tank of diesel. So I will hope the dates work out.
I miss the Kootenays'

Hi @Granite Grinder would it be an idea to sticky this thread up with the Whipsaw 2022 thread so they are all lumped together as the trip planners looks to dates?
