Hi guys has anyone installed king lowerings springs on thier 200? Did the ride get stiffer? I plan to install them on my 2013 with kdss suspension. Thanks

I didn't know they made lowering springs? Is it for stock suspension? I don't think coilovers can go lower than stock.

Yes they have. I just found a set today and ordered them. I just hope the ride wont change.

Chances are it will be a little stiffer... most, if not all lowering springs, have at least some increase to the spring rate.

Ok thanks. Will be installing them in a few weeks. Hopefully the ride wont change that much.

no offense meant to the OP but am I the only one who feels some anxiety reading this thread? Lowering a 200? Is that legal??? o_O

Yeah, to each his own, but seems to me the equivalent of buying a $60k sports car and lifting it.

I'm not a fan, but it's been done:

Share some photos after you've lowered it. With the right wheel/tire combo, I think it'd look awesome!

OP already has 22" wheels, so the lowering might just complete "the look" really well.

I use my cruiser mostly on highways and want it to handle well. I hardly go off road. Heres my set up now on 22 inch forged DPE wheels and ap racing radi-cal BBK’s. The 20 inch BBS wheels i had before didnt clear the brake kit. I might try installing the rear springs first and see how they look and ride.

Slammed on AHC that is. I don't think one can actually ride this low as it's pretty close to being on the bumpstops. The front is at least. Rear probably has another 2-3" of travel.
