by 3.30pm this afternoon all i was thinking about was garrett. so i cut outta work early and went and picked him up. he was sooooo happy to get picked up early, and by me.
went shopping for dinner, then came home and he got to bomb his cruiser around until the battery pooped out. it's on the charger.....

I don't know what it is about little kids and fire trucks but their eyes sure do light up when they see them. The absolute best part of being at the station.

White Trash of the Elwood Chapter, TORC4x4.org, Cottonland Cruisers.

He "earned" that hat a couple of months ago. One of my local cruiser buddies is a fire fighter. He drives the truck and invited us out to the station. Little boys dream come true!

That is so cool. Reminds me of days a long time ago. Good stuff in this thread.

might as well keep this going........

nothing exciting to report during the week, but we had another good weekend together. on our way home during the week we had to go past the post office and past the park on the way home. garrett really wanted to go to the playground so i promised him i'd take him saturday.
so we had his favorite breakfast; baelgs with cream cheese, hot chocolate and then off to the park.

after that, we went back home for change of clothes and then off to the haloween store. he wanted to be batman, but when we got there he saw a dinosaur outfit he just could'nt live without.

yesterday we went up to the gold country and checked out one of the old minig towns and some of the minig equipment. then we stopped by the local fish hatchery on the way home since the salmon are running and spawning right now. 45 minutes from the house.

garrett even found a "fishing pole" and was trying to lure some of the smaller fish in the holding ponds to come to him. they have fish-food dispensers and for 10 cents you get a handfull of stinky pellets. but the baby salmon and stealhead love them.

his mom agreed to let me have him this coming weekend as well. actually, he'll be staying with me full-time for the next few weeks. but that's a different story. i'm not complaining.
on friday we'll be heading to Surf-N-Turf at pismo beach. 3 days of beach, cruising around the dunes and great food. can't wait. :steer:

Georg love the thread....ill play as far as the halloween outfits.....LOVE my daughter in this.

Enjoy the time with your son.

What a little cutie!

you are saying that, Thank God, because she looks just like her momma!

I hope to have a boy next so I can do stuff like you and Garrett, BUT Elizabeth loves to "drive" the 40 around the neighborhood on my lap. She even knows the correct shift pattern (mind you she is 18 months!)

I read above where many told you to enjoy as the time passes quickly....ill add to it....I took that advice and am documenting via millions of pics every second so atleast I can look back on her at this age.

Cool stuff:D

time for an update......

this past weekend was SNT at pismo beach. probably the largest cruiser event in the nation, if not in the world. i've been fortunate enough to have been to all of them and was'nt gonna miss this one. better yet, i got to bring abby and garrett. originally i was just supposed to have garrett and i was going to bring the buggy down there to haul ass in the dunes and launch it some. but then i decided to leave it at home and just let the kids have a good time.

weather was'nt the best so we got a hotel room. wet sandy clothes in a tent just don't cut it. and there's something to be said about a nice hot shower after spending the day on the beach......

needless to say, the kids had a great time. i spent less than an hour all weekend talking about cruisers with others. ran the dunes for 15 minutes, the rest of the time was spent looking for seashells, running thru the surf, digging a hole to china,.......kid stuff.
