I have two keys for my 2008 LC, one works as normal but I am having trouble with the other. It stopped working unless the key was touching the start button, so I replaced the battery. Issue persisted so I replaced the battery, thinking maybe the first replacement was bad but no change again. These batteries were from an Amazon basics pack and I thought maybe the whole pack was bad, so I purchased a new pack of Energizer batteries but still no luck. I have also tried starting the car with both keys in the vehicle as some people have said that has worked.
The door sensors and lock and unlock buttons are not functioning with this key, but I can start the vehicle when I put the fob to the start button. The red led lights up when I press the lock or alarm buttons. Any ideas?
