second, the link mounts for the upper control arms ended up being a lot higher than desired due to the height of the pumpkin. this means a little more lift than originally planned will be required

Seems like raising the axle end upper link mounts without raising the frame end could have a significant impact on antisquat and roll center stuff. Could you not trim the 'legs' of that truss a bit so the upper mount bracket sits directly on top of diff?

Well, Kevin's statement isn't exactly correct. We didn't raise the axle end. That height is what we have in the plan. It's just that with lowering the entire truck it didn't fit exactly like we thought. So the numbers didn't really change JT, it was more of a how do we fit all of it under there issue. Oh, and bill did trim off about 1/2 inch to get to the right height.

Links arrived.

Ok let's get it put back together and finish that bitch up! Should be a busy week for Brother Bill!

Actually, not hearing anything.... whats the skinny?

Then a quick shakedown before getting loaded up for the trip back east? I dig those links BTW and I'm looking forward to seeing the new stance after the rework.

Looking good. can't wait to see it in person.

looking good!

crack the whip on Stayner! time is ticking away!

Everything is fitting nicely up front. Bill is working on steering today. Many thanks to Georg, Dominic and Jen for their help this weekend.

Word last night was that the front end is done and moving to finish the rear. The links are mocked up and tacked in so it should be quick since there's not steering and stuff to deal with. The hoops and struts still need to be installed.
