Also: Is my exhaust tip going to hit the driver side wing or mounting plate of the bumper. I have heard some stories about people having to remove there resonator or create a bracket for it to stop rattling? I will call you in a bit.
kAYMAR iNSTALL.

I purchased the Kaymar with the twin carrier mounts.
First I tapped all the factory frame mounts to clean up the threads. Second I took a hammer and knocked down the top of each frame rail slightly to let the bumper slide on with just a stout kick from both feet. Next i took the resonater mounting bolts out and cut the rubber mount in half and drilled out the studs in the rubber mount. The wings did prevent mounting on the passenger side. Holes in the stock bumper crossmember were enlarged per Kaymar specs. The bumper went on, all bolts lined up, the shims were installed, side frame plates were used and all bolts were torqed to 71 ft lbs. The resonator mount was installed with the cut down rubber mount using 2 new bolts with self locking nuts. Total time for prep was about 2 hours and install time was about 1.5 hours.
The bumper is stout.

I just completeted the entire install bumper and carrier. I like it very much only thing is i kinda see some sag in the rear since the tire install so now i have to get packers. i have the stock heavy low lift ome. i thought there would be no sag with my ome's. Anyone else have this problem??

You call that sag? Think of it as settling. :D

If you had OME heavies and no heavy rear bumper, you probably had more lift than "advertised".

I'd guess that you're now sitting at the "correct" height for the OME heavy spring rate.

Just my 2cents...

Yeah she is kinda Leveled out. Just looks like there is more wheel well in the front. i washed the truck and all the water went to the front when i washed the roof. Yes the truck was on leveled ground.

Spydaz,

Clean out your PM's my friend. Tried responding to your pm this morning and system said your box was full.

I can't really tell if mine sagged after installation because I've got Airlift air bags that may have helped compensate for any sag I may have had from the Kaymar w/tire carrier.

Congrats on the successful installation! You now know it was done right and feel good about it. Post pics!

Well i will post pics as soon as i can. I may put packers in or get a winch for the arb bar and then by god she'll level out!!!

Just put in a bid for a brand new Warn M8000 (i do mild stuff so i do not need bigger) on ebay for $499.00. One question, how does one mount a winch in the ARB winch bar??

I bought a $2 rubber / steel muffler clamp seal and removed the steel part. I slid the rubber part between the bumper and exhaust and used the included bolt and nut to cinch it in place. Works great.

Roughly 2 years ago Kaymar did change the spindle size yes......... But the tire and can carriers stayed the same. The spindle was upgraded to a larger size, the ID of the bearings were made larger to match this. Whats wierd about what you said is that the OD of the bearings stayed the same. The spindles are made by Kaymar I believe, I have never been able to cross reference those to another spindle out there.

Kaymar has changed the latches, spindles, and bearings, but the sleeves on the carriers have always been the same. It sounds like you have a newer style bumper, with older style bearings. I have extra sets of the new bearings coming in later this month, the part number is KA 6032. Hope this helps!
here's the pics- sorry they are crappy, but I had to use a camera at work.

From the pictures, the post is 34.86, while the large inner race is 31.15, and the small race is 19.01, and the small end of the post is 21.90.
