I purchased the Kaymar with the twin carrier mounts.
First I tapped all the factory frame mounts to clean up the threads. Second I took a hammer and knocked down the top of each frame rail slightly to let the bumper slide on with just a stout kick from both feet. Next i took the resonater mounting bolts out and cut the rubber mount in half and drilled out the studs in the rubber mount. The wings did prevent mounting on the passenger side. Holes in the stock bumper crossmember were enlarged per Kaymar specs. The bumper went on, all bolts lined up, the shims were installed, side frame plates were used and all bolts were torqed to 71 ft lbs. The resonator mount was installed with the cut down rubber mount using 2 new bolts with self locking nuts. Total time for prep was about 2 hours and install time was about 1.5 hours.
The bumper is stout.
