I invited Lee to camp with us too. He's my friend from Austin that has a house in Laurel. Several of yall have met him. He has a 3FE FJ 40. He drinks beer.

I'm really upset about not making this, but I have no vacation days to take and the man is not letting me off. Not even as unpaid days.

It's worse than you'd think, but considering the alternative right....
The man reluctantly let me initially go into negative vacation days last year when all the sicknesses started. However, i was officially fired after FMLA ran out but was going to be rehired as soon as I got better... Well when I did actually get better I was rehired as part time and worked part-time for 5 months... no benefits of any kind. Jan. 5th i was officially hired full time and my vacation days went back to owing the company 3 days... bull****.... but beats the alternative... I'm alive and I actually have a job right now....

can't you use the excuse of selling some of their inventory of baby blue pelican cases as a reason of going.

No kidding...I wasn't planning to buy beer until we got into Texas, but it looks like I might have to pick some up for Tuesday night.

I was thinking that we might should try to keep that corner up front where we camp more cleared out than last year. Maybe park our trucks in the center over by that fire pit untill after folks are done setting up. That way we won't get boxed in like last year.
Maybe we could do a central ez up out further away from the corner too?
