Back from a few days wheeling - met (Drew, Matt, Kris) at Spences Bridge, then over to Lillooet -Yalakom - Mud lakes and Relay Creek and the Graveyard shelf road. I had to leave Saturday to go home early to meet my 74 buyer from the US. I did not take many pictures as I have been through there many times. First time with my dog, as I have room now for a passenger. Good 'shake down' run for the 80.

Just got home and unpacked. Trip was very nice. I have to admit that Glenn was great at dealing with the fact that we put some pretty big scratches on that pristine 80 of his. Once again I ended up finding a path less traveled and we got into some tight trails. Was great heading out with you guys again, it's been too long.
This time we (well I at least) managed to get a bit higher up on Gravel mountain (2200m exactly) before coming to a section that was a bit too narrow and off camber for comfort. We had a few close calls but the fates smiled upon us and nothing bad happened.
This is the first year i actually regret not having AC in the truck.
I'll be working on pics in the next few days.

It was another great trip with all the expected obstacles(Chainsaws, U-turns, Winching, shoveling....). Like Glenn didn't take many photos but here are a few.

Lost my hitch pin somewhere before getting to Pemberton but didn't drop off until I went to pull out of the gas station.

Wow, that is lucky. Why do you think the pin fell out? that wasn't back from day 2 where we disconnected it, was it?

No, I had the tailor off when we headed up Relay in the morning. I suspect it was on the last few KM of the Hurley River FSR. I thought I heard something and got out and did a walk around looking and shaking things, but thought it must have been a rock hitting something.

And the day got worse once I got home. Unloaded all my electronics and packed them and Winston into the my condo before heading back to unpack the fridge and remainder of my perishable foods, however I grabbed my spare set of truck keys by accident that don't have my condo key on it. Long story short spent the night sleeping in my truck in the underground as I had no way of contacting anyone to bring over a key, until Sunday morning when I was able to borrow a phone off of one of my neighbors. Got back in after just over 12 hours of being locked out.

Talked to a couple people on crackbook. There was one guy a few weeks before us that pushed further than I did but the rest of their team stopped at the first switchback since it was a bit too tight for them. They were all running Jeeps. Apparently the top is stunning and nice and flat. Need to go back there and dig out the pass a bit. Now it's a personal challenge. Maybe later this year when the smoke dies down.
