I'll be heading up Saturday morning anyone else planning on going Saturday?

I am hoping to leave Vancouver around 9 or 10 a.m. on the Friday. If Sopel says that Bob Lake is a good rendevous site, then I'll set up camp there and put up a big tarp so that Gary T can get his tent into that space too when he comes up later in the evening. Anybody else going up in the morning? Barry -- Chris??

July long weekend

Its been some time since I've been to Bob lake, it was once the hardest fishing lake to get into until a logging rd was pushed in.
There is now one steep little hill just before the lake that made it 4wd.
But there was a short wheel base trail that headed down the left side of the lake.
If anyone has done that trail maybe they could post.
It sounds like a good place to start exploring the area.
If Bill wants warmer the SE side of Nicola gets cooking.

Yeah, Bob Lake would probably be a good rendevous point for people arriving Friday and Saturday morning. We can explore from there and possibly move campsites Saturday to the warmer side of Nicola L.
So Cruiser_guy (Charles) and the Red Reefer need a ride. I would take one but I have my grandson with me and there's no back seat. Soooo, who will step up and give one or both a ride?? I have an extra tent if you need it, and an extra air mattress and tarps.

Sorry all but do to problems with my Truck i had to cut my trip short .
i was planing to go see Bob lake area today ,but truck had a cooling problem.
I just could not stay on the off road . had problems comeing back too
took 5 hours from Merrit had to stop alot and wait for it to cool down .

Any ways i did Roch lake .
went up to Ernest (some good Fishing )
and really nice Trails in that area as well.

For July long weekend trip to Nicola Lake area:
For CB radio Coastal Cruisers use Channel 4 for normal trail chatter.
If CB out of range, switch to VHF.
For VHF radio Coastal Cruisers use 147.5500 MHz and backup 146.4000 MHz.
