What's the difference? You suggesting swapping out the valves?
No, I was wondering what the community's recommendation is for Fumoto or EZ valve. If Brian is using EZ valve that must go a long way in his trust in it. But, most on forum are using Fumoto. So, wondering which way to go.

Shipping of caps without socket begins tomorrow... caps with sockets are planned for next week.

The EZ Drain is an updated Fumoto, same company, better seal design for a pressurized application.

Thanks Brian! Looking forward to receiving cap and socket next week.

Brian, would you recommend replacing fumoto pan valves with EZ ?

And thanks for the shipping update

Just ordered. Thanks!

second this question, and what EZ would we want for the pan?

For the pan, I use the EZ Oil Drain Valve EZ-103RH. I like that this one includes the straight nipple, nickel plated finish and plastic handle cover. The correct thread size is 12mm-1.25.

Amazon product ASIN B00HTV2M90

Got mine today. Well worth the wait! Thanks, Brian.

I just ordered one. I honestly thought these were a Mud myth. I'm glad this is a reality. :)

Hey y’all...

Anyone have an Amazon link to a proper hose/tubing to fit the fumoto/EZ nipple?

I keep seeing amazon reviews noting unreliable sizing, etc.

Anyone have a known, proper link?
Thanks!

Sorry, I just brought it to the local hardware store where they have a bunch of different sizes on rolls sold by the foot.

3/8" ID clear plastic tubing fits.

The package says 12mm, but it measures out at 10.5 mm or 0.41 inches.

Yep. I’ll do same.
@RET2 sent the 3/8 answer... Just kept hearing about ordered tubes being wrong despite labels (sloppy order filling).

Getting lazy when the Amazon truck already in the neighborhood several times a day can plop it on my porch.

The upc on the hose I bought is below, that might help with finding it at Amazon?

The 3/8" clear will fit but will deteriorate due to the oil quickly. I think it's best with black 3/8 fuel line available any auto part shop and many other places.

also I got the ez with the 90 bend so that it was easier to put the hose on.

A piece of the clear should last several changes, granted the fuel rated hose will last longer but for the price and ability to see if the liquid is still flowing I'll go clear. FYI the clear is about 45 cents per ft.

The nipple takes 3/8" id tubing. PVC is just fine...I spray mine out with carb cleaner when finished. 6 feet that you can cut what you need will last a while. Best is trademarked "Tygon", but hardware store off-the-reel tube is fine.

Great suggestion on carb cleaner. Wondering if brake cleaner would work since I dont have any carburators on my cars anymore. I've just been throwing the tubing away instead of trying to store oily tubing.

someone clue me in. We order this all from amazon??? Or does Jowett have an additional magic improvement....and how does one get it?? I want the MOFO

You can get the valve and nipple from Amazon.

I posted a picture of the parts sitting on their bags above. EZ-103 and H-001.

I bought my hose at the local hardware store.
