I have mine removed right now. I'd like to blast/paint or powder coat. Has anyone taken one of these apart, specifically the hinges? They seem to be pressed together and I can't figure out how/if I can take it apart.
 
I looked at trying to do exactly that. I think the only way it could be done is to drill a hole in the bottom pin and use a punch to separate. I decided against it.
