LandTank, definitely not a problem with your bracket design whatsoever. I honestly don't think you could change it much due to the ABS lines.
The issue which I had was with the larger GM canister. It was necessary to grind-off the unnecessary grounding-boss (just moved the ground to one of the PS reservoir mounts) to be sure that there was enough clearance to the intake (now at least 3/4"). The tapered base of the canister was also a PITA. I wish the OEM one worked properly (ie did not cause tank pressurization) as I would have rather used the stock part. With the subtank, I really appreciate the GM setup as I have had ZERO problems this year with heat and fumes. It is all about trade-offs and in this case it was to get the non OEM canister to work with the OEM parts.
